Myriam's Belgian Cake

Ingredients:

200 grams sugar

1 packet vanilla sugar (or 1 1/2 teaspoons of our homemade mixture)

170 grams butter, melted

4 eggs

200 grams flour

4 grams (1/2 teaspoon) baking powder

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350° F (approximately 185 ° C)
  • Combine sugar and vanilla sugar in bowl
  • Add melted butter, 4 eggs, flour, and baking powder
  • Pour batter into greased bread pan
  • Bake at 350° F for approximately 1 hour or until pick comes out clean
  • Serve warm

Myriam suggests adding one of the following for a variation: chocolate, apples, kiwis or strawberries.
