Cubed Steak

Ingredients:

4 pieces of cubed steak
1 can golden mushroom soup
salt and pepper
flour
oil

Directions for stove top

  1. Salt, pepper and flour steak
  2. Brown on both sides in oil
  3. Pour can of soup mixed with about 3/4 can of water over the steak
  4. Cover with lid and simmer for approximately one hour or until tender

Directions for oven

  1. Salt, pepper and flour steak
  2. Brown on both sides in oil
  3. Place meat in baking dish, covering with soup
  4. Cover baking dish with foil and bake approximately 1 hour at 325 degrees
  5. Reduce heat to 250 degrees and let bake for 3 or 3 1/2 hours
