Cubed Steak
Ingredients:
4 pieces of cubed steak
1 can golden mushroom soup
salt and pepper
flour
oil
Directions for stove top
- Salt, pepper and flour steak
- Brown on both sides in oil
- Pour can of soup mixed with about 3/4 can of water over the steak
- Cover with lid and simmer for approximately one hour or until tender
Directions for oven
- Salt, pepper and flour steak
- Brown on both sides in oil
- Place meat in baking dish, covering with soup
- Cover baking dish with foil and bake approximately 1 hour at 325 degrees
- Reduce heat to 250 degrees and let bake for 3 or 3 1/2 hours
