The American Institute of Architects ranks Columbus sixth among American cities in architectural quality and innovation.  I first discovered Columbus, Indiana when a college roomate studying archetecture visited the town.  Stop at the Columbus Area Visitors Center to get maps or purchase bus tickets for the architectural tour, plus visit the gift shop.

Shoping is nearby in Edinburgh at Premium Outlets. Just minutes from Columbus, the outlet mall is conveniently located to Interstate 65, with a Holiday Inn Express and Cracker Barrel nearby.
